What This Document Is
The Music Hall of Fame Club is built around music, creativity, and community. These Community Guidelines exist to keep the space welcoming, respectful, and useful for everyone — Holders, fans, artists, and visitors alike.
By participating in the Music Hall of Fame Club community, you agree to follow these Guidelines. They apply across:
- The Music Hall of Fame Club website (musichofc.com)
- The Jammin' Alpacas website (jamminalpacas.com)
- The Merch Table (merch.musichofc.com), including reviews, comments, and customer interactions
- The Jammin' Review (jamminreview.com), in conjunction with the Jammin' Review-specific policies
- Our official Discord, our social media properties (X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and others), and any other community channels we operate or moderate
- In-person events organized by Jammin' Alpacas™ LLC
These Guidelines apply to your conduct as a community member, regardless of whether you are interacting publicly, in a member-only environment, or in private messages with Music Hall of Fame Club moderators or staff.
These Guidelines work together with the Terms of Use, the NFT License & Usage Rights, and the Token & NFT Disclaimer. In the event of any inconsistency, the Terms of Use control.
1. Our Community Values
The Music Hall of Fame Club exists because music is more than entertainment — it is connection, history, and identity. We expect community members to bring those values into how they treat each other.
We believe in:
- Respect for artists, creators, fans, and each other
- Open-mindedness across genres, eras, backgrounds, and perspectives
- Collaboration over competition
- Creativity without exploitation
- Honesty in our communications, our trading, and our relationships
- Having fun without harming others
Music brings people together. Our community should do the same.
2. Be Respectful
Treat every person you encounter in the Ecosystem with respect.
This means:
- No harassment. Do not threaten, intimidate, stalk, or target individuals or groups. Targeting includes coordinated campaigns of harassment, even when each individual message is mild.
- No hate speech. Do not use slurs, dehumanizing language, or content that demeans people based on race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
- No personal attacks. Disagreements about music, the project, or anything else are fine. Attacks on people are not.
- No doxxing. Do not share private information about other community members — including real names, addresses, employer information, family information, or other personally identifying details — without their explicit consent.
Disagreement is welcome. Disrespect is not.
3. No Harmful or Illegal Content
The following are prohibited in any community channel:
- Illegal activity or promotion of illegal activity
- Threats of violence, glorification of violence, or content that incites violence
- Sexual exploitation, sexually explicit content, or content that sexualizes minors in any way
- Content depicting or promoting self-harm
- Impersonation of Music Hall of Fame Club staff, moderators, partners, or other community members
- Scams, fraud, or deceptive practices, including phishing, fake giveaways, fake mints, fake support agents, fake customer service offers, and any scheme designed to gain access to wallets, private keys, or seed phrases
- Distribution of malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Doxxing or threats to dox
Many of these behaviors are already prohibited by law. They are also community-defining for us — protection of the people who participate here comes first.
4. Respect Artists and Intellectual Property
The Music Hall of Fame Club celebrates music and the people who make it. Treat that with the seriousness it deserves.
Within the community, please:
- Respect artists. Do not misrepresent your relationship to artists, falsely claim collaborations, or use artists' names or work to mislead.
- Do not steal or plagiarize. Do not present someone else's creative work as your own.
- Follow the NFT License. When using Jammin' Alpacas Artwork, comply with the NFT License & Usage Rights at musichofc.com/policies/licenses. The personal-use rights are broad; commercial use is capped and conditioned. Read the License before commercial use.
- Do not create counterfeit Music Hall of Fame Club merchandise. Do not make or sell goods that misrepresent themselves as official Music Hall of Fame Club, Jammin' Alpacas, or The Merch Table products.
- Respect copyrights of music and other content. When uploading or sharing music recordings, performances, or other copyrighted material, do so only when you have the right to do so. The Jammin' Review's site-specific policies cover this in more detail.
If you believe your copyright has been infringed within the community, contact us through the DMCA notice procedure described in the Terms of Use.
5. No Financial Manipulation or Misinformation
The Music Hall of Fame Club is a community, not a trading floor.
Within the community, do not:
- Promote $JPACA, Jammin' Alpacas NFTs, or any digital asset as an investment, a path to financial returns, or a vehicle for "guaranteed" or "expected" gains
- Coordinate market manipulation, including pump-and-dump schemes, wash trading, sybil attacks on voting or rewards, or any other manipulation of token price, NFT floor price, or community signals
- Spread misleading or false information about the project, its team, its smart contracts, its partners, or its roadmap
- Pressure others into purchases, mints, or participation, including through scarcity manipulation ("only 5 left!" when many remain), social pressure, or shaming
- Provide individualized financial, legal, tax, or investment advice to other community members
$JPACA is a utility token. Jammin' Alpacas NFTs are membership artifacts. Treat them that way in community conversations, regardless of how secondary markets behave.
If you see manipulation, scams, or coordinated misinformation in the community, report it to the moderators. We take this seriously.
6. Specific Channels Have Specific Rules
Some community channels have additional, channel-specific rules that apply alongside these Guidelines. Where channel-specific rules exist, both these Guidelines and the channel-specific rules apply.
- The Jammin' Review has specific policies covering uploads, voting, content moderation, and music licensing, published at jamminreview.com/policies. If you upload, vote, or comment on the Jammin' Review, those policies also apply.
- The Merch Table has specific commerce, shipping, and returns policies published at the operating site. If you write product reviews, customer comments, or interact with customer support, those policies also apply.
- Our Discord has its own server rules pinned in the channels. Server rules supplement these Guidelines and may include additional channel-specific rules (for example, rules for our trading channels, art-share channels, or off-topic channels).
- Our social media properties are subject to the rules of the underlying platform (X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) in addition to these Guidelines.
If a channel-specific rule conflicts with these Guidelines, the stricter rule applies.
7. Participation and Access
Community access, member benefits, gated experiences, and similar privileges:
- Are not guaranteed
- May change, expand, or be restricted at any time
- Do not create contractual rights beyond the Terms of Use, NFT License, and other applicable policies in effect at the time
- Are conditioned on continued compliance with these Guidelines and our other policies
Ownership of $JPACA, a Jammin' Alpacas NFT, or any other Music Hall of Fame Club digital asset does not entitle you to disrupt, harm, or harass other community members. Holding does not exempt you from these Guidelines.
8. Moderation and Enforcement
We reserve the right to:
- Moderate community content
- Edit, remove, or hide posts and materials that violate these Guidelines
- Restrict, suspend, or revoke access to community channels and member experiences
- Ban or remove individual community members
- Cooperate with law enforcement where required
Enforcement actions may be taken with or without prior notice when, in our reasonable judgment, the action is necessary to protect the community.
We try to apply moderation fairly and consistently, but we are not perfect. We make mistakes. If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you can appeal — see Section 9 below.
8.1 Severity-Tiered Approach
We generally try to match enforcement actions to the severity and pattern of the underlying conduct. As a general guide:
- First-time minor violations typically result in a warning, content removal, or a brief timeout — and an explanation of which Guideline was violated
- Repeat or pattern violations may result in extended suspension or permanent removal from the relevant channel
- Serious violations (including hate speech, threats of violence, harassment campaigns, doxxing, scams, child sexual content, or coordinated manipulation) may result in immediate permanent removal without prior notice or warning, and may also be reported to relevant platforms and authorities
We retain discretion. Our objective is the long-term health of the community, not procedural perfection in any individual case.
9. Appeals
If you believe a moderation action against you was made in error, or if you have new information that changes the picture, you may submit an appeal by emailing community@mhofc.com with the following:
- A description of the action you are appealing (which channel, what the action was, when it occurred)
- Your account or community handle (and wallet address if applicable)
- Why you believe the action was made in error, or what new information should be considered
We will review the appeal and respond. We aim to respond within 10 business days, though complex cases may take longer. Appeals are not guaranteed to succeed; we reserve the right to maintain, modify, or reverse the original action based on the totality of available information.
<!-- [COUNSEL: confirm appeals process and the community@mhofc.com mailbox. The mailbox needs to actually exist and be monitored before this section publishes.] -->We do not commit to providing detailed reasoning for every moderation decision, especially in cases involving harassment or threats where doing so could endanger other community members or compromise an ongoing investigation.
10. Reporting Violations
If you encounter behavior in any Music Hall of Fame Club channel that violates these Guidelines, please report it.
How to report:
- In Discord: use the
@Moderatormention or the in-server reporting tools as configured by our moderation team - On the Jammin' Review: use the report tools on individual uploads or comments
- By email: community@mhofc.com — this is the catch-all reporting address for any community violation that does not have a more specific channel
- For DMCA / copyright violations specifically: follow the DMCA notice procedure in the Terms of Use, which directs reports to the Designated Agent
Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We will not retaliate against good-faith reports. We will not disclose the identity of a reporter to the person being reported, except where compelled by law.
11. Community-Generated Content and Artwork
If you post, upload, or share content within the community — including in Discord, on the Jammin' Review, in social channels we operate, or in any community space — you grant Jammin' Alpacas™ LLC the rights described in the Terms of Use to host, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Ecosystem.
You retain ownership of your content. You represent and warrant that the content you share does not infringe any third party's rights and complies with these Guidelines.
If you share derivative works or fan art based on Music Hall of Fame Club Artwork, the NFT License & Usage Rights apply. The personal-use and fan-art carve-outs in the License are intentionally generous — we want creative engagement.
12. Commercial Promotion
Self-promotion of your own work is welcome in moderation, but the community is not a venue for unrestricted advertising. Where channels have specific rules about promotion (for example, dedicated artist-share channels in Discord), those rules apply. As a general principle:
- Sharing your own music, art, or creative work in appropriate channels is welcome
- Repeated cross-channel posting, mass-tagging, or coordinated promotion campaigns are not
- Promotion of unrelated commercial products, services, or projects is not appropriate in community channels
Music industry partners and collaborators may participate in branded or sponsored programming through agreements with Jammin' Alpacas™ LLC. Member-led commercial activity using Jammin' Alpacas Artwork is governed by the NFT License & Usage Rights.
13. Updates to These Guidelines
These Guidelines may evolve as the community grows. Material changes will be communicated through the Music Hall of Fame Club website and our community channels. Continued participation in the community after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Guidelines.
